The Butterfly Earrings Mariposa are asymmetric and each is distinct, bold yet subtle!
The longest earring measures 6.5 cm and the smallest 5.5 cm.
Both feature butterflies made from small squares of lightweight fabric in shades of pink, soft yellow, and sea green. One earring is longer and includes a butterfly crafted from recycled bright pink or green porcelain and glass.
They fasten with hypoallergenic silver ear hooks for added comfort.
2% of the sales from the Butterflies Collection are donated to the Instituto Monsenhor Airosa in Braga, Portugal, a non-profit organization that helps children, young people, and the elderly.

These Earrings include:
• 2 large fabric butterflies
• 2 medium fabric butterflies
• 3 small fabric butterflies
• 1 sustainable apple “leather” tag.
All butterflies are cut from fabric squares, hand-sewn, manipulated, and then individually sewn onto a macramé structure made with cotton cord.
All fabric used is rescued from surplus textile factories in northern Portugal. More important than their composition is honoring their existence by transforming them into a unique work of art.
The pair of Butterfly Earrings includes one recycled porcelain and glass butterfly in bright pink or green with a glazed finish.
It took half a day of manual work by two artisans to complete this piece.
Because they are handmade with the mentioned materials, each piece is unique and may have slight differences.
Care & Maintenance
The Butterfly Earrings Mariposa are unique, handmade pieces with textile materials.
Avoid contact with water, parfums and creams. Do not wash, as it may damage the structure of the small butterflies and the overall composition of the piece.
With frequent use, the piece may develop some creases in the textile butterflies. You can use an iron at the minimum temperature to correct the shape.
The ceramic butterflies are fragile, they're easily broken. Please, when removing them from your ears, carefully place the earrings in their respective box, cushioned to keep them intact.
